BIO:
Chris joined Troubh Heisler in 2004 after 27 years at one of Maine's largest law firms. He handles commercial and residential sales and leases, real estate related litigation, land use and zoning, municipal law, condominium and mortgage lending matters. Chris has been listed in Best Lawyers in America each year since 2003.

Chris also operates Real Estate Resolutions, LLC, which is a mediation, arbitration, reference and expert witness service for real estate disputes. He is on the Maine CADRES rosters for mediation, arbitration and early neutral evaluation.

Chris was Chairman of the Maine State Bar Association Title Standards Committee from 1984 to 1994, was Chairman of the MSBA Real Estate Section from 1995-96, and remains an active member of the Committee and section. He was on the Maine Legislative Trespass Commission in 1995. Chris has lectured at many CLE seminars on several real estate topics. He was on the part-time faculty at the University of Southern Maine from 1979 - 1987, where he taught the Real Estate Law for prospective real estate brokers.

Chris has two adult children and resides in West Cumberland with his loyal dog, Gordie. He is currently a member of the Cumberland Planning Board and a Director of "Affinity", a Maine non-profit agency providing services to the developmentally disabled. Chris has been a Cumberland Soccer Club travel team coach, and a Trustee of the Cumberland Congregational Church, UCC. He enjoys the outdoors, golf, and soccer, and shares season tickets for the Red Sox and the Sea Dogs.
