Heather began working at Troubh Heisler as a law clerk the summer after her first year at University of Maine Law School in 2003, and continued in that position through graduation in 2005. Since graduating and passing the bar exam, Heather now holds the position of associate, and works in the litigation section. Her practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, family law and criminal law. She is a member of the Maine Bar Association and the Maine Trial Lawyers Association.
Heather was born and raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts. As an undergraduate, Heather attended Smith College, and was an Ada Comstock Scholar. Heather's undergraduate academic focus was in the combined areas of sociological methods and applied ethics. During her tenure at Smith College, Heather engaged in an array of social outreach work. Upon admission to law school, Heather was awarded the Hampden County Bar Association's Judge John F. Moriarty Scholarship award.
While at the University of Maine Law School, Heather focused on a variety course work pertaining to civil litigation and criminal law. During her second year at Maine Law, she was a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, where she assisted prisoners on a variety of civil matters. In her final year at Maine Law, Heather was a student member of the Edward T. Gignoux Inn of Court.
